A contemporary branding system that conveys Helios’ ideals while standing out from the competition was created utilizing elements, models and typography that represented Helios’ roots and customer appeals. Helios uses greek statues as models to showcase jewellery and products to stand out from the competition. It is an ode to ancient Greek religion and mythology, where Helios is the god who personifies the sun.
Helios’ logo was designed to represent the modern and ever evolving jewellery industry, inspired by traditional Greek typography, with a modern twist and subtle symbolism. The ‘o’ in ‘Helios’ was extracted and utilized to create an independent icon logo. Representing a ring and the sun, paired with 4 simple “sun rays”, it creates an effective and recognizable piece with meaning.
